On this route the coastline is rocky. The wild beauty of the landscape is complemented by the sea caves, hidden in the steep cliffs that fall into the sea on the west side of the island.
The clear blue waters that reveal the view of the seabed, in combination with the stalactites that adorn the roof of the cave, compose an unreal scene. We make a short stop at the small beach that is located inside for swimming. Then we explore other caves with a larger dome and stop at a secluded beach. Finally there is a torn rock through which the sea passes and ends in a sandy creek which we visit.
It is an easy activity suitable for all ages, for families, for beginners and experienced who want to explore the natural beauty of the island with respect for nature.
There is two more options for sea kayaking in Thasos island:
- Porto Vathi-Skala Potamias
- Sunset Tour
