You will start the trip from Episkopi beach, a long sandy beach and paddle for approximately 20 min to the ancient port of Vriokastro, the island’s prehistoric settlement. You will make a stop for swimming and snorkeling in the emerald waters, explore some interesting sea caves along the way until you reach the highlight of the island – the famous Kolona beach, where you can dip into the natural thermal spring for ultimate rejuvenation and a break for snack.

A small hike up to the Agios Loukas islet which is connected with Kolona only by a narrow strip of sand, will offer the best panoramic views to the famous beach and the surrounding scenery, so this is where you can take those great postcard-like photos and enjoy the views, before heading back to Episkopi, carrying some amazing new memories.

We always take into account wind strength and direction in order to use it in our advantage and stay sheltered, so trips are decided beforehand in relation to group size and experience. Safety is our greater priority that's why our certified sea kayak guide is there to instruct you on proper technique, guide you and ensure that you have a memorable time on your kayak trip.

At the launch beach we hand you paddling equipment and brief you on kayak handling skills. It doesn't take long before we start paddling to get drawn by the exploratory nature sea kayaking offers. We stop for our first snack-fruits and swimming break and once we resume paddling we continue the exploration of sea caves, small coves and interesting rock formations to our final destination. There we enjoy a well deserved lunch break that includes fresh local products. During the two stops there's enough time to swim, snorkel, sunbathe and explore the surrounding area where there's usually some small deserted Cycladic chapel or cliffs. Once the lunch stop is over we paddle back to finish an adventurous day spent in the outdoors.

Kythnos is one of the most beautiful islands of the western Cyclades, featuring the famous landscape of all Cyclades islands, traditional architecture, colorful alleys, archaeological sites, countless churches and chapels, scenic bays and perfectly clean sandy beaches.
The 22 km long coastline offers many small creeks (92 coasts have been recorded, from which at least 60 are at least easily accessible) and many sea caves serving as homes for the monachus monachus seal.
