The first round of EGS 2019 is a fact!
Agrapidokampos Nafpaktia and Nafpaktos are ready to host the first round of the Enduro Greek Series 2019.
GRE
Agrapidokampos is located west of Nafpaktos at a distance of 16 km and at an altitude of only 266 meters.
The name of the village derives from the composition of the words "wild", "apidia" and "kambos", meaning a plain full of lapis (wild pear).
It is a small valley with running waters of ravines and a small river, surrounded by mountains of maximum altitude of 600 meters.
The paths are mixed ground, from hard and stony to soft brown
and were used in the past for the movement of people from village to village, as well as for the movement of livestock flocks.
All trails have been reopened, maintained and evolved by the local "Trail Mates Outdoors" for Mountain Biking and Mountain Run Events
The path of the Prologue, which is located on the hill of the Venetian Castle of Nafpaktos, consists mainly of stony terrain with enough slope per point
In March, trails are usually softer because of the rains in February that have watered enough ground.
The closest urban center with many possibilities of accommodation, dining and entertainment is Nafpaktos.
The weather and temperatures at that time are usually good with 11 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Registrations will be accepted until Friday, February 22, 2019, as well as the purchase of the prize. The prize of the match must be paid in full and any bank charges are exclusively for the participants.
Participants who have not paid their ticket in time can pay it to the Secretariat on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 March, before the FOREWORD, with a 10 euro charge.
Maximum number of participants 150 contestants plus 30 FUN categories.
Registrations will be closed earlier than 22 February once the seats have been filled and paid for participation.
Registration is NOT transferred to another person.
CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION
It is possible to cancel participation with a refund of up to 2 weeks prior to the match. No refunds will be made after the deadline
ROUTE
Soil: Special routes are mixed ground, from hard and stony to soft brown.
The paths were used in the past to move people from village to village, as well as to move livestock flocks.
Route total: 5 special tracks of 8 km length *** km of connecting routes and *** meters of altitude difference
Route analysis and map will be announced on Friday February 22, 2019
The special routes will be unknown and closed until the start of the test.
TESTING-TRAINING
Tentatively allowed Friday 1 and Saturday 2 March 2019 program basis.
Reverse traffic and stopping within trails are prohibited.
