Greece Crosser by motorcycles 11 Days

1st DAY 16 / 10FINIKUNUDA - GROUP ASSEMBLY DAY
The appointment of the riders for Greece Crosser 2020 will take place in the tourist facilities of Lontos Village located in Finikounda, Messinia.
Day dedicated to the organization of the team and the motorcycles and of course at the same time to the relaxation of the riders before the MEGA TOUR!

Athens - Finikounda

VISIT TO POINTS OF INTEREST:
-Fishing village of Finikounda
Finikounda is a large fishing village on the homonymous beach, with significant tourist development and is located south of Lachanada, whose port (= port). It is built together with its neighbor Loutsa in the western corner of the base of an imaginary isosceles triangle, facing south, which forms the Cape of Akrita (also known as Kapo - Gallo or Kavogalo).

2nd DAY 17 / 10FINIKOUNTA - PARNONAS
The next day 17/10, 9:00 in the morning (official start of the trip) we start our trip to the north βο
We start with a small piece of dirt road on Mount Zarnaura from Finikounda to Koroni.

- From Koroni asphalt road through Kalamata to the village of Ano Verga (Taygetos)
- From Ano Verga we travel from the central side of Taygetos to Agios Vassilios.
- From Agios Vassilios we exit on the impressive old national road Kalamata Sparta, on our way we will visit: The abyss of Kaiada and the Castle City of Mystras.
-From Sparta we move to Mount Parnonas from a mixed route to the village of Tsintzina.
- A few km outside the village of Tsintzina (Polydroso, Laconia) will be our first night in the forest of Parnon.

3rd DAY 18 / 10PARNONAS - LAKE OF GLORY (CHELMOS)
Our day finds us crossing the rest of the mountain range of Mount Parnon.

-From Polydroso (asphalt) to the village of Sitaina we continue from dirt to the village of Ano Doliana.
-From Ano Doliana we travel from asphalt Tripoli and from there to Davia Arcadia (Mainalo).
-From Davia we cross the eastern side of Mount Mainalo to Vytina and Kamenitsa.
-From Vytina and Kamenitsa we travel to mountainous Corinth asphalt to Messorrougi - Zarouchla (Helmos).
-From Mesorrougi soil to Lake Doxa where the group will spend the night by the lake.

4th DAY 19/10 LAKE DOXAS - ARVANITSA (ELIKONAS)
We head to Mount Ziria and the village of Goura.
From Goura we continue to the village of Kato Tarsos and the 1st point of interest Panagia tou Vrachou.
From Kato Tarsos then to the village of Lagadaeika, just outside the village there is the 2nd point of interest "Buddhist Stupa of Corinth Karma Bertsen".
From the Buddhist Stupa we descend from the soil to Xylokastro leaving behind the mountainous Corinth.
From Xylokastro we continue from asphalt to Loutraki.
From Loutraki ascent of Mount Geraneia to the village of Pisia.
From the village of Pisia we ascend to the peaks of Geraneia in the direction of Megara and Mount Patera we continue to the village of Erythres.
From the village of Erythres asphalt to the village of Prodromos from there we start the ascent of Elikonas with the completion of the route between the villages of Kyriaki & Agia Anna in Boeotia.
Overnight of the group in the Arvanitsa mountain meadow

DAY 5 20 / 10ARVANITSA - ARTOTINA (VARDOUSIA)
From Arvanitsa we continue to the north side of Elikonas we meet the village of Elikonas.
From the village of Elikona we continue to the impressive damars of the mountain at the end of the dirt road in Distomo.
From Distomo asphalt to Arachova, from Kalivia Arachova we start the ascent of Parnassos, a stop in the impressive cave Korykeio cave.
From the cave we continue to Western Parnassos and the village of Drosochori, the dirt road will take us a few km outside Amfissa.
From Amfissa ascent of Mount Kokkinari where it will take us to the village of Karoutes and a little later to the lakeside village of Lidoriki overlooking Lake Mornos.
From Lake Mornos ascent to Vardousia where we will reach over 2000m. and we will move from a breathtaking route!
The group will spend the night in the village of Artotina.

DAY 6 21/10 ARTOTINA - LAKE PENDANT
From Artotina we continue to Grammeni Oxia with direction west to Ambliani.
From Ambliani ascent of Mount Kaliakoudas from Diana.
From Kaliakouda crossing Mount Helidona continuing downhill to Lake Kremasta and the river Krikeloti.
The group will spend the night on the river Krikeliotis.

7TH DAY 22/10 KEMASTA LAKE - TERPNA (TZOUMERKA)
From the hanging lake we continue to Kerasochori and Marathos.
From Marathos climb to Agrafa to the village of Agrafa.
From the village of Agrafa shortly after we cross the Niala.
From Niala we cross Mount Voutsikaki to the village of Haris.
From Harris to Lake Stefaniada.
From the lake we continue to the villages of Argithea Petroto and Balkano
Near the village of Terpna (Acheloos beach) the group will spend the night.

8th DAY 23 / 10TERPNA (TZOUMERKA) - VALIA KALDA
From the beaches of Acheloos and Athamanios climb to the rugged Tzoumerka that we will cross to Melissourgos.
From Melissourgoi direction to Pramanta and Kalarites.
From Kalarites climb Mount Peristeri and cross to the village of Mikro Peristeri.
From Mikro Peristeri from asphalt to Metsovo.
From Metsovo to the Valia Calda National Park.
The night of the team will take place in Arkoudorema (Valia Calda)

9th DAY 24/10 VALIA CALDA - NESTORIO
From Arkoudorema we continue we continue the crossing of the Valia Calda forest and the mountain Egg.
From Mount Avgo we cross Mount Vsilitsa to the village of Distrato,
From Distrato we cross Mount Smolika to Samarina.
From Samarina continue to Tambouri and Grammo mountains, one stop at Arrenes lakes.
From the lakes we continue the crossing of Grammos to the village of Pefkos.
From the village of Pefkos continue to Nestorio.
The group will spend the night next to the river Aliakmonas.

Monastery of Taxiarches - Tsouka

10th DAY 25 / 10NESTORIO - NORTH
The day from the river Aliakmonas and Nestorio we head by asphalt in the city of Kastoria
From Kastoria ascent of Mount Vitsi, crossing the mountain to the city of Florina.
From Florina asphalt to the village of Panagitsa (Pella) from there we start the ascent of Mount Vora to 2,524m. where you find the church of the prophet Elijah.
From the top of Vora we descend to Loutraki Baths.
The last night of the group will take place in Loutraki Loutraki (Loutra Pozar), also there the group will enjoy the natural hot thermal waters in the form of a waterfall.

11th DAY 26/10 NORTH - ATHENS
The day, return day.
We travel from Loutraki Baths to Athens on asphalt.

Asphalt km: via A / D PATHE / E75 / Α1 562km.

Motorcycle Equipment

• Check your motorcycle for leaks, make sure all fluids and oils are in the correct range, lubricate the drive chain and clutch cable.
• Tools - keys provided by the manufacturer such as sprocket wrenches and Allen keys.
• Every rider is obliged to have the front and rear tires with him or the repair kit if his tires are tubeless

CAUTION! In any travel option, the dirt tires play an important role for the best control of your motorcycle, but also the safety of the other participants.

• The following arrangements need to be made and completed before the day of the trip.
• Motorcycle tank is full.
• Chain lubrication
• Check tires, lower the pressure from 25psi to 22psi.
• Adjust the steering wheel so that your arms are slightly bent while keeping the steering wheel in a sitting position and not stretched.
• Adjusting the gear lever raise the lever so that your foot wearing the boot makes it easier to change gears.
• Adjusting the rear brake lever lower the brake lever so that in an upright driving position it is not pressed by the boot.
• Fasten your things with straps on the back of the motorcycle, not bags and tank bag on the motorcycle tank.
• In the backpack, limit only your water and food, the heaviest ones such as tools, tubes, etc., put them in a bag at the back of the motorcycle.

To take part in Greece Crosser you must have taken part in a previous day - two day trip or in classes.
Otherwise contact us at least one month in advance.

The routes are mostly from main dirt and forest roads, to selected adventure trips are added low difficulty paths.
For the safety of the participants, the routes are designed and checked before the trip so that the roads are accessible for motorcycles.
