Olympus Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece, extends to the Prefectures Pieria and Larissa. Southwest of Macedonia, it rises proudly like giant tower 2918 meters high without anything to challenge its sovereignty. It is due to this fact, that the Ancient Greeks had “placed” their gods on it.
Meteora The land of huge vertical cliffs, with awe-inspiring panoramic views. Natural sculptures created by prehistoric rivers, and with centuries old -but active- monasteries perched on top. The monks have established a centuries-old tradition: climbing, aided by ropes, nets, wooden structures or bare hands. Today climbers from all over the world visit Meteora, to be challenged by the “god-made” rocks. UNESCO has designated Meteora as “Conserved and Protected Monument of Humanity “. The Greek state as a “place sacred, unalterable and inviolable “. Add your own characterization in the “guest book” of Meteora, which reaches over 2 million visitors every year.
Zagorochoria Zagori is an area in the Pindos mountain range, in Epirus of northwestern Greece. In the area there are 46 so-called settlements: Zagorochoria, which are scattered at the foot of the Pindos mountain ranges. The area is known to adventure lovers as it provides many options for activities in its vast mountain range. Endless mountains, gorges and rivers compose a magical landscape gifting unique views as well as opportunities for action.
Pelion Journey to the “home” of the Centaurs Such beauty could not but give birth to myths. According to mythology, Pelion is the home of Centaurs and the wise Chiron, where Achilles and Asclepius obtained medicinal knowledge, and birthplace of the well-established symbol of medicine: the snake. In autumn, orange and red colors forming an unreal pallet, generously spread in front of you. Trails, old churches, beaches with green waters characterize this area.
Details: There is an activity of 3-5 hours daily. After each activity there is free time and depending on the wishes of the group, tours in the area in order to visite places of interest etc. There may be minor changes to the program according to availability of accommodations and unpredictable weather conditions, only invoked to secure the team safety.

Orlia Gorge is probably the most famous and most visited gorge in Greece for Canyoning. It is located at the foot of Mount Olympus, in a beautiful environment with lush vegetation, with beautiful slopes of which green waters flow.Along the gorge there is a beautiful trail, which we will follow in the direction of the gorge. The combination of hiking in the beautiful nature and the images of the gorge are guaranteed to enchant you!Endless games with slides and dives in the beautiful lakes formed by the gorge, as well as continuous descents to the waterfalls, a fascinating journey!

Day 3 Virtual Tour On Olympus / Hiking

In collaboration with the management body of Olympus National Park, a virtual tour of Olympus and its peaks will be shown, lasting one hour. After that, a hike takes place to the well-known ravine of Enipeas.
11:00 Hiking
The gorge of Enipeas is one of the most famous places of Olympus. This is a magical hiking trail of rare beauty! In the spring months, when plenty of water is present, you can witness Enipeas in all its glory. The route starts at Prionia and the path crosses Enipeas with pretty wooden bridges. After approximately an hour, we will reach old monastery of Agios Dionysios and we will make our first stop to visit it. The trail continues in the direction of Litochoro and in a short time we reach the cave of St. Dionysius, the place where the saint used to live as a hermit. A small sign informs us that the water gushing from the base of the cave, just behind the chapel, is believed to be holy water.

Platamonas Castle is a castle – a city of mid-Byzantine period, (10th century AD) and is built on the southeast slopes of Olympus. The tower, is the most impressive citadel that exists in a Greek castle.

Day 4 Via Ferrata & canyoning in Pelion

The activity takes place in a part of the gorge, where beautiful lakes, blue water and waterfalls create a unique spectacle that will enchant visitors. The route starts with Via Ferrata 300 meters in parallel to the waterfalls, and ends at the beginning of the gorge, from there we start a descent through the gorge and end at the starting point – termination.The literal meaning of the word Via ferrata in Italian means “iron road”, and it is a rock climbing route, consisting of iron stairs attached, either horizontally or vertically, secured by iron-ropes.

Voidomatis is described as one of the cleanest rivers in the Europe. It crosses one of the most beautiful mountainous areas of Greece, which has a designated national park since 1973, as well as the gorge of Vikos, a monument of natural beauty. Along Voidomatis are some of the most beautiful single-arched, stone continental bridges. The most famous is the bridge of Klidonias, located at the exit of the ravine of Vikos.
