GREEK PANORAMA: Alternative Greece in Zappeion, November 15-16, 2019
GREEK PANORAMA at Zappeion Palace (November 15-16) to present new travel experiences
for the Greek visitor from one of the most beautiful places in Greece, and at the same time it will offer
the possibility of networking of businesses and entities with the aim of developing and extrapolating the industry.
The special forms of tourism and new tourism products that our country develops are multidimensional and
relate to a wide array of travel services to be exhibited, from adventure tourism,
marine tourism, agrotourism, gastronomic tourism, wine tourism, sports tourism,
spa tourism, private accommodation, wellness tourism and more. to seasonal tourism
- such as Christmas, Easter, religious holidays, etc.
Sustainable tourism and mild tourism practices that respect the environment, people and
local communities will be presented by the World Council on Sustainable Tourism (GSTC).
In particular the presence of the GSTC will include a central booth for public / professional information and
presentations / workshops aimed at informing and educating sustainable tourism policies and practices.
The exhibition features a special promotion of cycling tourism with the "Bike Neighborhood" by BIKE FRIENDLY HOTELS.
Cycling tourism is an important form of alternative tourism that is flourishing in Greece as well.
The exhibition will feature hotels - members of the "Bike Friendly" network with integrated cycling services,
but also cycling routes to destinations that are notable for their infrastructure and bike service.
Hiking tourism will feature prominently in the exhibition with Paths of Greece and Hikers Friendly Hotels–
for information on hiking destinations in Greece, and partner accommodation and
tour operators specializing in hiking trails and trails.
The Athenian public will also have the opportunity to be informed about the thermal tourism and
the abundance of our country's certified thermal springs - as well as tourist information - from the booth and
public presentations by the Hellenic Association of Therapeutic Springs Municipalities.
Winter tourism will also feature a central booth from SNOWREPORT with all the information
for ski resorts in Greece, destinations all over the country, excursions to popular destinations, transport,
and in general any useful information for winter sports enthusiasts and especially snow!
Destinations and municipalities from every corner of Greece will present alternative tourism activities,
as indicative of Kalymnos, Volos, Chios, Anafi, Methana, Kea, Serres,
Agia Larissa, Larissa, the Chamber of Larissa, but also from the regions of the Region of Thessaly,
of the Region of Central Macedonia, the Attika Wine & Food Experience etc.
with a rich program of open presentations to the public in the exhibition lecture hall.
