Sunset Sea Kayak Trip Halkidiki

On average this kayak trip includes a 30 minutes preparation time 1 hour paddling exploration in Vourvourou bay and Diaporos island and 2 hours free time for swimming, snorkeling, snacks, fruits, relaxation, photographs and more.

17:00 - 17:30: Preparation-Training
We start this tour with a short lesson on the beach to go over the elements of kayaking including safety issues, proper paddling techniques, steering and stability tips. We learn also the various details of our journey.
17:30 - 18:00: Paddling
We start with a relaxed paddling in the calm waters of Vourvourou bay, heading over to one of the beaches and coves on the south side of Diaporos island. During this part of our trip will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Vourvourou bay while receiving interesting knowledge and information about the culture, history and traditions of the region.
18:00 - 18:30: Free Time
In the beach we will have our first rest stop to swim and snorkel in the crystal blue waters of the small bay nad to take photographs of the beautiful scenery. There is always a wide variety of sea-life to learn about including lots of fish, sea urchins, jellyfish, crabs etc.
18:30 - 18:45: Paddling
We continue with a short paddle towards Karydi cape on the Vourvourou bay, where we will have another rest stop on the shore of Karydi cape.
18:45 - 19:45: Free Time - Snack
Here we have again the chance to get out of the kayaks, stretch our legs and enjoy a quick refreshing swim and snorkeling
in the cool waters. We get on top of the rock formations to admire the stunning Sunset view and
to capture the tranquility with our cameras!
Here usually we indulge on our healthy snacks and fresh fruits to regain all our physical and mental powers for the trip back.
19:45 - 20:00: Paddling
A short way back paddling to our Sea Kayak Halkidiki center for ending an amazing 3-hour trip on the water.
