Rappel and River Trekking Hiking in Pelion, Greece
Located just outside the famous village of Milies, de Chirico bridge (steelstructure, 42 m high), is the place where we will start our small “flight” from. The name of the bridge was given to honor the Italian engineer Evaristo de Chirico, the designer of the railway track in Pelion. The main feature of the bridge is that the rails doesn’t follow the straight direction of the bridge, but a curved line.
We fix our ropes/lines and it’s time to rappel down the bridge, until the bottom of the small stream named Taxiarchis. After a small break in order to admire nature, we are ready to start our walk and explore this magnificent place.
There is also the possibility of hiking in Pelion as well as corporate programs (contact us)
