Olympus - Mytikas, Enipea Gorge

Friday: Departure by mini van from Nafplio and Athens and check-in at an accommodation in the Old Panteleimon area.

Saturday: Departure from the hotel to Prionia.
There we will walk to Ennipea Gorge. A magical route at the foot of Olympus! The Enipea Gorge Hike crosses imposing ravines, verdant ravines and crystal-clear rapids. We are hiking in a truly impressive natural landscape!
We start towards the Old Monastery of Agios Dionysios. Nearby we find the amazing Enipeos Waterfall! Its waters fall rapidly from a height of 38 meters, forming a beautiful blue-green lake! Here anyone who wishes can swim in the cold waters. Swimwear and towel required.

Our route follows the river from the left, while we then cross it seven times by beautiful wooden bridges, having its bed sometimes from the right and sometimes from the left. We hike under the shade of huge trees, in dense vegetation and connected by the sweet sound of the cellar waters of Enipeos. Soon we reach the "Millos" location of Litochoro, which is also the end of our hike.

Sunday: We will visit the peaks of Olympus. Departure from the hotel to the Christaki refuge. From there, with an hour and a half of easy hiking, we will reach the stairs of Olympus, with a view of the beautiful cauldrons and Mytika. Those who want from there will climb to Scolio and if the conditions allow it, those who can and wish with the necessary escort and equipment will climb to the top. Late afternoon return to the accommodation.

Total Activity Duration: 10 hours

To the participants, we provide a walking stick, waterproof, light snack midway and personal insurance. Individually, everyone must have the appropriate sports clothing, sturdy sports shoes, a small bag and water and whatever else they individually need (shirt, towel, etc.).

For those who climb the summit there will be an extra charge for equipment and escort, upon consultation.

All transfers are made with our own 4 x 4 vehicles. The price does not include accommodation and meals.

In case the weather conditions do not allow an excursion there is always an alternative program.
