Rafting Meteora Venetiko & Aliakmonas

We pick up and put on our equipment and board the  vehicles to be transported to the rafting starting point. After a detailed demonstration of safety rules and descent techniques, we are ready to get started!

Our route reserves many fun moments in a unique natural landscape, surrounded by sandstone rocks, similar to those of Meteora and forests with huge plane trees! We paddle between fascinating river crossings and make stops for diving and playing in the water! During our descent we will have the opportunity to observe the special fauna of birds and mammals.

At the end of our route, we meet again the vehicles that will take us back to the base, completing our beautiful experience.

The rafting descent takes place on the rivers Venetiko and Aliakmonas, at a distance of 45 'from Meteora and 15' from Grevena. The degree of difficulty varies depending on the route we choose with the passages (rapids) ranging from first to third degree. The route is chosen based on the possibilities, the prevailing conditions and the age of each group.
