Hiking Lake Doxa

Starting from Lake Doxa, then, we start our hiking trip, on the slope of Durduvana in the direction of the Hunter's Col, on a path full of firs, black pines, oaks, chestnuts and many kinds of mushrooms. In many parts of the route we will enjoy the view of the lake from above. We arrive at the Gogaki sheepfold where we will make an enjoyable break overlooking Lake Doxa and Megali Ziria in Corinth.

Continuing our course, the route brings us to the picturesque monastery of Agios Georgios, which was founded in the 14th century! Originally located at the level of the artificial lake, due to floods it was moved to its current location in 1693. The new location offers stunning views across the lake and is an attraction for visitors who enjoy the magnificent specialty of the monks, the sweet rose .
