Morning Electric Bike Tour Athens

Before the tour, your tour leader will provide you with a high-quality electric bike and a helmet. You will also have an introduction regarding the itinerary and meet the rest of the group.On our first short stop, the new Acropolis Museum, you will get some useful tips about visiting the Acropolis Hill and the Parthenon.
Then, we will ride through the cute little neighbourhood of Plaka, a place full of historic buildings and a local market with plenty of shops for souvenirs and small gifts.

During the tour, we will travel together through time as we pass by all the main highlights of the historic center of Athens, such as the National Observatory area (to get a breathtaking view to the Acropolis), the Ancient Greek cemetery of Kerameikos, Thission neighborhood, the Ancient Greek Agora, the Roman Agora and the Athens City Cathedral.
Enjoying local flavors is one of the highlights of our tour. During our 20 minute break, at a nice Greek cafe, you will be offered a cup of traditional Greek coffee or some delicious Greek ice cream. Throughout this time, you will also get the chance to mingle with the rest of the group.

Our next stop will be inside the labyrinth of the National Gardens, to enjoy the shady trails of this popular park. As we exit the National Gardens, we head towards the Presidential Mansion in order to get amazed by the ceremonial military unit of the Presidential Guards. The trip continues with a brief visit to the Panathenaic Stadium, the venue of the first modern Olympic Games and finally to Zappeion Hall, one of the most important Neoclassical buildings in Greece.
Our Athens electric Bike tour will end in front of the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch, getting another unique view to the Acropolis!

We will bike Athens providing ‘Pedal-Assist’ bikes for this tour, which are not to be mistaken with Electric Scooters. An electric motor amplifies your pedal stroke as you cycle. You start, stop and steer the bike exactly as you would with a conventional bicycle. Since we only have E-bikes available in standard adult bike sizes, this tour is recommended for guests over 160 cm height who are able cyclists.

Depending on specific local conditions, reasonable changes in the itinerary of the Athens Electric bike tour may be made, where deemed necessary.
