Sunset Bike Tour Athens

We meet in the center of Athens and start our journey from the biggest pedestrian street of Athens, located a stone’s throw away from Acropolis of Athens, where you will have a short introduction about the tour’s schedule. Our Athens Sunset bike tour is about to start.

Equipped with a comfortable city bike for a relaxed and enjoyable tour, we will begin the exploration of the city by visiting the National Gardens, a beautiful and shady place in the heart of Athens. Next, you will ride towards the Presidential Mansion and get impressed by the ceremonial unit of the Presidential Guards. Then, it’s time to discover the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place, and to Zappeion hall a magnificent Neoclassical building.

Enjoying local flavors is one of the highlights of our tour. During our 20 minute break, at a nice Greek cafe, you will be offered a cup of traditional Greek coffee or some delicious Greek ice cream. Throughout this time, you will also get the chance to mingle with the rest of the group.

While cycling around Athens we will stop in front of the impressive Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch, which is one of the best photo shooting spots in Athens. We will lead you through the biggest pedestrian area of the city, where you feel like travelling back in the ancient times ,while cycling around Acropolis Hill. What comes next is our “secret” spot to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Parthenon.

Your journey back in time will continue with some remarkable stops at the Ancient Greek Cemetery (Kerameikos), the Ancient Greek Agora, the Roman Agora and Athens’ Orthodox Cathedral.
