Description

Hiking Mountain Hymettos Athens, Attica, Greece

(contact us for availability)

Hymettos, which rises between the Athens basin and the Mediterranean plains, has been in a tighter circle of residential development in recent decades.

Hymettos maintains its beautiful corners, even some wildness in places, and operates more than any other Greek, as a place for walking, recreation, sports and mountaineering.
Indeed, thousands of Athenians visit it regularly, and on a daily basis.

Hiking Mountain Hymettos:
Hymettos offers unexpectedly great opportunities for hiking. Most visitors may prefer the dirt road network.

Finally, you will find a large number of caves but also a series of remarkable Byzantine monuments, most importantly the restored Monastery of Kaisariani.
