Hiking Tour near Metsovo

We drive 10min by the car north from Metsovo, to the high plateau of "Politses" at 1350m elevation. Our walk starts at the "Politses" Plateau, where from May to October one can see sheep, cows, and horses grazing. Also, wild animals like, wolfs, foxes, Rabbits, Deers e.t.c live in this area.
After passing the first kilometer through green meadows and dense forest, walking on a wide and easy path with smooth slopes we will reach the place names "Vale di Liosan" with the imposing beeches.

From there, through the dense forest with the imposant big beech trees, we walk ascent for the next 20-30min until we reach the small amphitheater on a very nice viewpoint with an amazing view. There we will have a short break to rest, make some nice photos, and take a snack. From this point, we will continue moving on the mountain range names 'Kaligomeno Aloni" for the next 45min. After passing the highest point of the route at 1593 meters we will start moving in a smooth slope downwards.
