Zagorochoria 3-day Hiking

Day 1
We depart on Friday afternoon from Volos at 17:00 for Mikro Papigo at the foot of Astraka at 960m altitude. We arrive and get ready to enjoy our wine overlooking the imposing Towers of Astraka.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2
Early in the morning with the dew after our rich breakfast we load the necessities and start our hike in the forest with beeches and later with fir trees and robolas to lead us to the shelter of Astraka and at 1950m. A little rest in the shelter and we continue our course for the highest lake in Greece, Drakolimni. We return for lunch at the shelter and then continue our descent to Papigo.
Overnight at hotel.
7 hours of hiking

Day 3
Breakfast overlooking the Towers of Astraka and then we go to the village of Vikos. From here we descend to the springs of Voidomatis for swimming, relaxation and picnic. Then the return to Viko from the same route reminds us that the staircase of the village when going uphill is a nice challenge.
