Flegga Lakes, Valia Calda Pindus Meteora

Saturday:  we will visit all the core magic icons and the Flega Lakes. We will approach the autumn alpine part of Mavrovouni and the wonderful landscape with the lightning-struck rombolas and after climbing to the top and the lakes we will follow the path downwards to the core and Arkudorema, where our vehicles will be waiting for us to wander the rest of the valley. Activity duration 10 hours (hiking 6 hours), distance 15 km. The excursion is of moderate difficulty and requires basic physical condition. For those who don't want to do the whole hike, they can do a short one, as many as they want in Arkudorema, following the vehicles. In this case it is also suitable for children.



Sunday: We will hike the eerie rocks of Meteora.

We will visit the monasteries such as M. Meteorou Monastery, Varlaam Monastery and all the sights on this wonderful trail. Route of moderate difficulty 4.5 – 5 hours in total and a distance of 9-10 km. Return to Kastraki and eat in the shade of the rocks.

Total duration of activity 10 hours.


Friday: Departure from Athens, Patras and Corinth by arrangement.

To the participants, we provide a walking stick, waterproof, light snack midway and personal insurance. Individually, everyone must have the appropriate sports clothing, sturdy sports shoes, a small bag and water and whatever else they individually need (shirt, towel, etc.).

In case the weather conditions do not allow an excursion there is always an alternative program.
The cost does not include overnight accommodation and food. For transportation with our own 8-seater minivan, an extra charge of €30 per person.

For participants from the nearby areas, there is a possibility to participate for one day and the cost will be determined after consultation with us.
