3 days with Activities in Zagorochoria (Zagori)

SATURDAY 5/03/2022 VIA FERRATA KONITSA
Via Ferrata is located on the Aoos River next to Konitsa.

The literal meaning of the word Via Ferrata in Italian means “iron road” and it is a rock climbing, secured with equipment, consisting of iron stairs that are embedded in it, either horizontally or vertically, and safety wire ropes.

The path starts from the stone bridge of Konitsa and ends in it and includes three bridges. The first 7 meters crosses the Grava stream, the second 17 meters and 40-50 meters high crosses the Aoos and the third 5 meters length bridges an empty point of the route near the Konitsa Bridge.

SUNDAY 6/03/2022 HIKING VIKOS GORGE
The day starts early and we head to the village of Monodendri after first leaving our cars in the village of Viko. From there, the hike to the unique gorge of Vikos starts, lasting 6 hours.
Vikos gorge is one of the most famous sights in Zagori, it is one of the largest, deepest and most impressive gorges in the world, with vertical geological formations, with great variety and alternation of different ecosystems, a feast of flora and fauna, which is one of the few remaining wildlife refuges in Europe.

MONDAY 7/03/2022 CANYONING NEFELI CANYON
Nefeli Canyon is under the shadow of the imposing Astraka Zagorochoria, between the small and the large Papigo.

The settlement of Papigou is one of the most famous and popular Greek traditional settlements, attracting thousands of visitors each year, who come to admire the wonderful scenery of the region.

Easy route through a lush landscape that makes you calmer and relax, an attraction is the enormous water lilies along the gorge
It has 7 waterfalls in total (max 18m).
Easy route suitable for young children (over 10 years old).
